I finally finished my yarn storage system!  I was getting tired of tangled yarn whenever I would try to find something in my yarn baskets. Below is how I made my yarn storage system.

I started off with an empty bookcase.

Then I had to organize my yarn, I did this by using collapsible fabric crates from Target and using one for colors and one for neutrals. These went on the 2nd shelf of the bookcase.

Next I organized my safety eyes & noses in a plastic divider and put this on top of my sewing kit on the top shelf.

I put all of my ergonomic crochet hooks in a mason jar and put this on top of the bookcase.

I used these Bamboo Storage Stackers from Costco for my little balls of yarn that were too small to go in the crates. These went next to the hooks on top of the bookcase.

I organized all of my crochet books and put them next my sewing kit on the top shelf.
