Four years ago I made a water-bottle holder up as I went along, and it turned out looking terrible. I was still getting the hang of crocheting, even though I had been crocheting for 4 years already.

Water-bottle holder 4 years ago, crocheted at age 9.

The problem with this holder was that it was just a flat piece of crochet fabric folded over and sewn together and it did not have flat bottom, so I could not set the bottle down without it tipping over.

Water-bottle holder now.

I have now figured out how to make one with a flat bottom so you can set the bottle down without it tipping over.

The water bottle I used in the sample above is my sister’s 12 oz Camelbak Kids Water Bottle.

The yarn I am using is Red Heart Super Saver and the color is Bon Bon.
