Those little diapers that come with the baby critter figures are adorable, but once the little bows that hold them together come undone, they are almost impossible to re-tie, leaving your poor little baby figures with nothing to wear!

Remedy that situation by making this cute little diaper for them to wear.

You will need:

• cotton crochet thread
• cord elastic
• a size 10/1.30mm crochet hook
• a needle, to weave in ends
• scissors

Time to complete – Under a half hour

Diaper:

Magic ring, 6 sc into ring, pull tight and join with sl-st to first sc.

Rnd 1: ch 1, 2 sc in first st, ch 12, skip 2 sts and sc 2 in next st, ch 12, skip 2 sts, join with sl-st to first sc.

Rnd 2: ch 1 and sc in each st and chain space around, join with sl-st to first sc. (28 sts)

Rnd 3: ch 1, sc around, join with sl-st to first sc. (28 sts)

Cut a piece of cord elastic about 4 inches (10 cm) long.

Rnd 4: ch 1, crocheting over cord elastic and keeping elastic taught, sc in each st around,  join to first sc. (28 sts) Cut elastic and tie ends in a knot, fasten off and weave in ends. Trim ends of elastic.
