Paddington Bear Hat Free Crochet Pattern
I love it when I can re-use some of my old patterns to make a new one. It’s like a bonus!
This time, I altered my Rain or Bowler Hat For Babies pattern and turned it into a hat inspired by Paddington Bear (You know, from the Paddington Bear book series about a bear who loves orange marmalade).

Paired with a little blue trench coat, this would be an adorable prop for a baby photo shoot. Worked with a smaller hook or less repeats, this is also an adorable hat for a doll or teddy bear.
You will need:
- Worsted weight (#4) red yarn (I used Red Heart Super Saver in Cherry)
- a size H/5.00 mm crochet hook (I used my favorite Boye Ergonomic Crochet hook)
- a yarn needle (for weaving in ends)
