Rain or Bowler Hat For Babies

IMG_0300

One of my favorite things to crochet are baby booties. And while I was browsing on Ravelry I found this adorable pattern for Rain boots by Repeat Crafter Me. After making them I decided something was missing and decided to make a rain hat to go with it. After a search for “rain hat” on Ravelry turned up nothing, I decided to try making my own pattern. For my first pattern, I think it turned out pretty well.

Incidentally, this also works in black as a bowler Thompson and Thomson hat (you know, from Tintin), or in red as a Paddington Bear hat.

I have decided to post the pattern for free, please do not sell the pattern or claim it as your own. You may not sell the finished product online.

The yarn I am using is Caron United in Mustard.
