March Progress – 2020 Goals
Due largely to the statewide stay at home order, I’ve made quite a lot of progress on my goals this month.
Crafting Goals:
Knit a sweater
I’ve mostly finished this, I just have a few more rows on the neckline. I’ll post pictures on Instagram when it’s complete.

Knit one lace something
I have started and made significant progress on this one (120 rows). The pattern I’m using is Vernal Equinox Shawl (free pattern download).
Use my stash before buying new yarn
The closure of craft stores and the stay at home order is making this one really easy.
Finish a pair of socks
I’m not that bored yet.
Update blog more
I’ve got a few posts planned for next as well as some new patterns + projects!
Remember to take pictures and update Instagram regularly
I like to think I’m doing better at this.
Other (non crafty) Goals:
Practicing more
I will admit I’ve been slightly behind on this one. The remainder of the symphony’s season was cancelled, so I currently don’t have any concerts to prepare for. I have been playing about 5 hours a week to maintain fitness and dexterity.
Learn & memorize a concerto
I’m still working on Bach’s Violin Concerto in A Minor. Since I have extra time, I’ve also been finding concertos on IMSLP to work on.
Learn a language
I’ve still been working on Spanish and am up to a 121 day streak on Duolingo. I mostly use the Stories feature, since it’s more real life sentences and conversations.
