I met my goal and made 4 plarn bags this year! All of these bags together used about 500 single-use plastic shopping bags.

The first one I made unfortunately don’t have any decent pictures of, but the pattern I used is Grrlfriend Market Bag.

Bag no. 2 is Frankston Market Bag designed by Frankston Hooker. Time to accumulate enough bags – 3 months.

Bag no. 3 is Lola Market Bag, also designed by Frankston Hooker. Time to accumulate enough bags – 4 months.

Bag no 4. is Einkaufsnetz gehäkelt, designed by Susanne Müller & published in Initiative Handarbeit. Note: Pattern is written in German.
